Coat issues.... horse people's advice needed!!!!!!?

I found a black horse which Im considering buying, although his stomach, back, and forehead have bleached out over the summer. How can I keep him jet, midnight black year-round?Coat issues.... horse people's advice needed!!!!!!?
There are special shampoos that will restore and protect color, along with some UV protection fly sprays and coat shiners. Vetrolin and Show Sheen can protect a horse's coat and so can special UV blocking fly blankets.

Also, some bigger trainers only put their show horses at pasture at night, which is definitely an option.

Remember that black is a very hard color to work with and it takes a lot to keep that color and keep out the red!Coat issues.... horse people's advice needed!!!!!!?
You can keep this horse in the barn during the day when its sunny outside and then let the horse out at night.

There are many products that you can use on black horses to maintain a black coat, such as shampoos, and sprays.
ok this isnt an easy question ok but yes a summer combo would be really good BUT summer combo's rub manes out really badly maybe consider i standard summer rug and getting a hood or polar fleece neck rug. i hope this helps x
Keep him covered in a fly sheet and this will shield him from the sun and flies. You can also use a color enhancing shampoo to keep his coat black.

Only put him out to pasture at night or after the sun goes down.

There are also color enhancing shampoos.
get a black shampoo (dog shampoo worked better than horse shampoo for me) and keep a cotton summer rug on him year round with a hood to cover his face
i would get a summer combo and keep it on him to protect him from the sun
