Is George Bush totally responsible for his mistakes... or is it the people that offer him advice ?

Probably both... but I think he does not get good advice, and he is used a lot...

He is really not smart enough to do all the evil he has done all by himself.Is George Bush totally responsible for his mistakes... or is it the people that offer him advice ?
The buck stops with the president....good bad or indifferent. This is the BUSH administration, not Rice, Cheney or Rove.Is George Bush totally responsible for his mistakes... or is it the people that offer him advice ?
No.

Don't think so.

We are all part of the mess.

Can we blame little children?

Luke 8.5-8,10-17

After we kick them on the butts without being aware of the mess created back in the past?

Luke 11. 46,52

What do you think?
In the end Bush is responsible for his mistakes even though his advisors may be at fault. As Harry Truman said about the presidency - ';The buck stops here.';
He is ultimately responsible for his actions, as we all are. He chose the people to advise him, and ignored those who offered opinions he didn't want to hear. On reading the question, the first thought that came to mind was what several others have posted, the Truman quote - ';the buck stops here';. That's how the presidency is viewed, and I am not going to argue with Truman. I don't think Bush would.
I would agree with the statement above --both, and the people that voted for him twice as well.
If someone tell you to jump from the bridge, would you jump?
What mistakes has he made?
He is, just because someone gives you advice doesn't mean you have to follow it
I think if anyone on here that keeps knocking Bush about this war, if you haven't done so yet...please take a trip to the Abraham Lincoln Museum, you will really get a good education...Abraham Lincoln is considered a very good president, yet he had everything said about him and his war as you Bush haters are saying about this war.

The very Democrats that have been knocking Bush about this war, seen what he seen reported and voted for this war.

Tony Blair had the same information and he went to war with us.

And besides which one of you can claim perfection or that you never have and never will make a mistake!

Please use some common sense here and really check out the facts rather than what you hear or see on TV or read in the paper. The democrats was against the Surge in Iraq, then when they seen it was working...they wanted to take claim for it and said,';It was because the terrorist knew they would get in office and were afraid'; PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK!

If any of you would take that trip to Springfield, IL and visit the Museum, I think you just might reconsider your judgments
Who said he made mistakes?

He was no more imperfect then those who preceeded him in that office.
The sign on Harry Truman's desk said it all: ';The buck stops here.';

The President is the President because he is ultimately responsible.
