Room Decorating Advice? Calling people with Great Taste!?

Ok so, I'm fifteen, and I'm trying to decorate my room. My room is bright yellow. Not neon bright, but a nice yellow. I have a queen size bed, a desk and a closet. A pretty basic room. But its so blaaa and boring right now. I have nothing on my walls, no personality. I want to make it more fun and inviting. I have a white down comforter, but I need a duvet cover. I want something nonexpensive, stylish and fun. Nothing pink and overally girly, but fun and goes with yellow. I just need advice on where to look or any suggestions? What color scheme should I go with ? What should I do for my windows?Any great ideas for my walls? Any fun cheap tips I can use? I'm open to anything. Some websites and ideas would be awesome. I don't know if this is your taste but here is the vision I just got: keep your walls yellow (easy).Either make it (I here it's easy if you can use a sewing machine), or shop for a duvet cover in a beautiful bold black and white toyle pattern.To see an example of this search/type-housefabrics.com, then in their search window type-black and white fabric. Then accessorize With black, white and yellow. Paint things if you have to, eg. lamp, side table, headboard... Buy a black or white cast iron patio chair from Wall mart as an accent piece ( or the fake look-a-like iron... who's gonna know?). Here's a really cool and cheep thing I did for the window in my daughter's room. Get some feather boas from the dollar store, party supply store, costume store (it's getting close to halloween so you'll be sure to find them) and loop them loosely so they drape down a bit on a window valance rod (also cheap in Wall mart). Put on enough so that the rod is covered. Safety-pining or papercliping them together end- to- end.Black would look stunning here! Finally I would add an accent colour in the form of throw-pillows, flowers a vase, but not too many . Just two or three . I'd go with either red, sky blue or apple green, but it could be either something bright or more subtle like perhaps soft aqua or the dreaded pink-lol.Can you afford a light fixture? If there is a ceiling light in your room, change it to a cool mini-chandelier in a colour from your chosen colour scheme. hope this gives you some ideas! Have fun!Room Decorating Advice? Bedding like this will spice up your blah room and make you feel happy. At 15 you should have a room you love. The orange and yellow in this bedding will brighten your mood and the sparkle from the pillows will be the icing on the cake. Sheer curtains in orange and yellows would work well with this. If you do not like orange..you can choose just about any other colour, as most will match great with yellow. You can google any colour bedroom on image to get some great ideas. There are so many decors to choose from it may be hard. Pick a colour you love that will spice up your room. Choose a couple of great lighting fixtures...chandelier, funky bedside lamp, great looking but functional desk lamp. Bins can be in lots of colours adding pops of colour on shelving, in closets, on/under your desk.
