Why do people answer questions with moral advice when it is no where near the answer to the question?

People come to Yahoo! answers to ask questions and get answers - not moral advice, so why do people give it ? Is it really that hard to distinguish an relevant answer from your personal opinion?

If you really need to add you own 'two cents' can't you at least answer the question and then throw it in at the end?

(This does not apply to questions that actually request moral advice)Why do people answer questions with moral advice when it is no where near the answer to the question?
because they have nothin better to sayWhy do people answer questions with moral advice when it is no where near the answer to the question?
Because people who give the advice are bored.

Merry Christmas.
Um, I am going to go ahead and say that as a rhetorical question yes?
I can't speak for the masses like people do on Religions and Spirituality questions. I'd say there's people out there that are so desperate for their identity that they'd stoop to the tactic you describe. That my opinion.
Because they don't know the answer and are only interested in promoting their opinions.

I know I have done it :-)

Is there anybody here that can cast the first stone?
see dear yahoo is a global watching network. You can live anywhere but people are still answering with utmost care.

For the betterment of the questioner, the answering people

have the resonsiblity of advice. Mere getting marks, is not our aim. I feel it is a game to know the unknown and try

to express our known to our level best
Yahoo answers provide a rare opportunity for the participants to share their views, experience, ideas ect. Sometimes it also deals with moral advices , or some times the answers seem to be even irrelevant. But the fact remains that there is a sense of participation globally .The answers can be accepted on their merits ,and be appreciated for the curiosity they create.

I am not giving a moral advice, yet let us learn to enjoy the answers and in many cases the answers are absorbing and quite interesting.
