Why is it so much easier to tell other people what to do than to take our own advice?

i guess that it because we are too close to the heart of the matter and we are too emotionally involved. with other people we can be more detached and logical.

Because thinking and talking about something is easier and takes less time than implementing it.Why is it so much easier to tell other people what to do than to take our own advice?
Because we're not the ones that have to deal with the consequences
Because its harder when we are emotionally involved. People have habits that they just cant break, whether its being unable to leave a spouse, getting a new job etc. People are creatures of habit and it takes a lot of guts to break the routine.
Because '; doing '; is a darn lot more difficult than '; saying ';!
We can't swallow our own Medicine.
because actions speak loud than wordsa :) :)
I ask myself that question all the time.
